Shares in Microsoft slump

Microsoft’s share price has fallen more than 40pc since Mr Ballmer took the helm of Microsoft in 2000, amid concerns that he has allowed the business to become bloated, slow and mired in politics. Insiders describe a culture of fear where those who stick their heads above the parapets are swiftly managed out of the business.
